Having Trouble Adding Attachments

I have been trying to add attachments using excel connector and am having some problems.  I enter 'new' under Attachment, the directory path under Body, the file name under File Name, the Parent ID, and the Content Type is application/msword.  When I insert the row, it shows as an attachment under the Account but it will not allow me to open the file.

I have the same problem. I fill all the columns correctly - the file path in the Body column is like "C:/Temp/00P20000001INT0EAO" and when I insert the record into Salesforce I obtain an attached file, but this new file contains as text inside only the row with the file path, I mean this one "C:/Temp/00P20000001INT0EAO". Apparently the file isn't decoded properly, or I would say it isn't decoded at all.
Does anyone have ideas about how to solve this problem?
