Import Contracts

I´m new to this. I´m wondering if there is a way to import Contracts from Excel?

It depends on the version of Salesforce you are running.

If you are running Enterprise or Unlimited the answer is yes.  If you have Professional, you may also need to have an API license.

To do the import from excel you would want to install the Excel connector (can get it over in the Salesforce Developer site).

Another option which may work better than doing it from excel would be to use the Salesforce DataLoader (again would need an API license).  The reason I say this is it allows you to do what is called an Upsert that, if you tied your contracts to an object you could then relate them via an external id and would not need to know the Salesforce ID for that object.
