sforce connector - macro not found

I have downloaded the sforce connector to a permanant file called "salesforce" in "My Documents".  The menu is on the toolbar, so it appears that it is downloaded.  The problem is that when I try to access anything on the dropdown menu, I get the following message:
 
"The macro "C:\Documents and Settings\dduchesne\My Documents\ASA\Salesforce\sforce_connect_616pe\sforce_connect_for_pe.xla'!sfDescribeAndQuery' cannot be found"
 
Can anyone help me with this?

I am having the same issue. I am trying to install Excel Connector on one of our user's laptop and keep getting the same message after uninstalling in several times and re-installing it. I am only getting the message on that one machine...I have installed Connector on 5 machines so far and all of them worked just fine. This one has Excel 2003.

I am not sure what to do anymore....Any advice from anybody will be more than appreciated.
