aborchy I have an issue in my org where a previous admin was happy to share the excel connector with some standard users however i want to stop this practice for all users except admins.
Any ideas???
I think you just need to edit the standard users profile an under 'Administrative Permissions' un-check the 'API Enabled' box. Be warned that this will obviously prevent these users from accessing the API so if they need to use it for anything else this will prevent them from doing so.
As a side note, I'd recommend that you create a new profile to do this (just clone the standard user one) and move them over. This way, you've always got the original to refer back to if needed.
