Error code when uploading data from sfConnector

I have tried several attempts to upload content from Excel into sf.com using the sfConnector application. (I had successfully uploaded on a previous attempt.  But in all of my subsequent attempts, including starting from scratch and reloading all of my content into a new spreadsheet, I still get the following error message:

 

Salesforce: Update ()

invalid Range, missing data type, or other unknown error

MALFORMED_ID: bad id NewZ55

 

Does anyone know what this error message is referring to?

I have gotten that error or similar if I manually edit the search query directly on the spreadsheet.  It can also happens if the try to enter an invalid value (like Lead ID is a alphnumeric) and you add in a non-existing variable.

Also if error is associate with a specific custom column or duplicate column, hover and read red definition for box and delete unneeded or error causing value. 

 

Re run query by "Query Table Data"
