Remove the required field

HI,

          I want to remove the required field in Opportunity Layout, the field is CloseDate may i know how it is possible.

You can't do this I'm afraid - this is a standard required field so you can't remove it from a page layout.  You could create a Visualforce edit page without this field, but you won't be able to save an opportunity unless you populate it.
