Creating a New Developer Edition

Is there something wrong with the Sign Up for the Free Developer environment.  Since the change in URL, I haven't been able to create a new one.

When you say that you are not able to create, what exactly is the issue you are facing. Please elaborate.

I have the same Issue. I cannot create a new developer account via https://developer.salesforce.com/signup.
I receive an error message which says that my username is already taken - no matter which username I choose.

 

Error message:

These error(s) occurred:
    username: nomatterwhat@developer123.com is already taken

U cannot use this username.

Try with some other username.

This did not solve the problem. The mentioned email address was just an example. I already tried several usernames.

Please try to reproduce this issue by creating a new developer account!

Check this!

In ther username field, try something different. Ex. yourname@sfd.com

I already tried different username but I receive an error message (see above) when I click on "Sign me up"!

I am a Trailblazer completing the modules. I am now stuck in one module and following is the error. I would like to know What is the process of using the new Developer Edition (DE).
