Any User can add themselves to Opportunity Splits

I would like to make it so that any user could add themselves to an Opportunity Splits.  I have an instance that is for a very open sales team and they want any user to be able to add themselves to an opty split.  Is there a way for this to be done?

Unfortunately, adding themselves to Opportunity Splits is something which is not possible at this minute.

Is there a way to have more than one owner of an opportunity.  I'm trying to find a way where more than one person can make changes to an opty split
