Can we change Display name of custom field in page layout (like in report type)?

I want to change the display name in page layouts... Suppose the custom field name is a code (For easy mapping while importing data) and display name is in decoded form.... Can i do this??

Hi Rachit,

You could rename the field in the translation workbench.
Would that solve your problem?

I dont think so... For eg:- My custom Filed name is frt2008 which is decoded as customer first name...
