Custom Object Access Salesforce1

I have created a custom object in Salesforce, and am trying to get the page to be tested in Salesforce1. I have attached a custom page to the creation of new records. I have marked the page to be "Available for Salesforce mobile apps". As far as I can tell, the object is supposed to be open for anyone to be able to access this object.

I have a colleague, that has full admin rights and can see the object in Salesforce, but cannot find the object in salesforce1. I can see it in my salesforce1 and chatter applications, but no one else can. Additionally, if I provide a link to the mobile version of the custom object in the instance/one/one.app, the user is able to access the object. However, if they navigate off the object, they cannot find it in the side menu.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, can any one help?

Hi Sean

When a User has access to a standard or custom object via the + (tabs listing) ONLY but cannot access that object via an application, they will notice that these objects are not available in the Salesforce1 left menu.

Standard or custom object not available in Salesforce1 mobile menu is covered under Knowledge Article Number: 000188058 In salesforce

Hi Sean,

You should ensure that the object's "Tab" is available for all user profiles. Pick any user with the issue, go to the user's profile, under Tab Settings, ensure that your custom object tab is not set as "Tab Hidden". It is recommended to leave it as "Default on".

In Salesforce1, on the left sidebar, under the "Recent" section , you will see recent tabs. At the end of the Recent list, there is a "More" button which will expose all the tabs irrespective of them recently being opened.

One thing I want to know for this. I found that Knowledge article before posting this, and went through the mobile + button to find the customize my tabs, to not be an option.

It was only upon my 100th reading of it, that I realized that it might be talking about doing that in SalesForce browser, to which that fixed my issue. Though, I wonder if I want all my users to be able to see this, I certainly hope that it doesn't have to be done manually for every single one of them.
