What is the difference between Opportunity line item and Product

Hi all ,

         Can anybody explain what is the difference between opportunity line item and product and what is the juction object here..?

Hi,

Products are the individual items or services that you sell to customers through your opportunities and quotes.
And Opportunity Line Item is nothing but product which u added to a particular opportunity.

When you add a product to Opportunity it is called Opportunity Line Item  which you use during your slaes.
