Code For Custom button

Friends I want to create a custom button  for an object and my requirment is to show the record ID of any record  in a new page when i click on that respective button . Please give the solution .

Hi Sameer,

You can write an OnClick Javascript and get the ID using the merge field. 

Something like

var recordId = "{!Account.Id}";
alert(recordId);
