Hi Karthik,

for managing different entities in a single corporate entity, we have the Parent Account concept in SF.

For Instance, A is parent of B.

While creating B account in SF, we have the option to chose A as its  parent account in Parent Account lookup field  , if we dont have A in SF , we create account  A in SF  and save it , so that we can select A as parent for B.

If A don't have any parents and it is the highest entity in the hierarchy, we leave parentl account lookup field as blank for A.

Thanks,
Prasanth

Hi

If a lead arises from a company then this company becomes the Account...

And further different departments become Accounts if the lead arises from them and in such a case the company becomes the parent account.

Thanks...
