Bill Fox look up field in flow
When adding a new record and a field is a lookup field, the field starts as blank and if not required I can leave blank. In flow it autopopulates the first record and I must select an option. Is there a way around this? 
Would it work to set a placeholder picklist value and then use a workflow rule to change it back to blank? Not an ideal long-term solution, but it would at least get you what you are looking for now.
