Display Tasks ON Customer Portal

Displaying Contact related Tasks on Customer Portal Home page.
I am not getting the Tasks on Portal Home page can any one help me

Portal users can't have tasks assigned to them - there's an idea that's been open for 5 years at:

but as the last comment from product management is 4 years ago, I wouldn't hold my breath.
