creating custom filter in vf page?

Hi, I need a vf page to show a filter criteria as of like rule criteria (or) a like a new list view in vf page, please help me out to complete this.....thanks!

HI Venkat,

If I understood your requirement correctly, you need have one inputtext field in vf page. Which using get;set; .

Then have one button on button click reassign the query list value by using like operator. then rerender the table on button click.
