With Custom Report Type

Hi All,

There is a requirement for me where i need to pull all the opportunties which may/may not have  X object(It is related list to opportunity) record.

For this i created a new report type as opportunity and with or without related records from X object.

Now my problem is i am unable to pull the field values from X object even they are having values , i am able to pull on report but not getting values.

Please suggest

Hi ,

There is a link to add fields that are related via lookup on extreme left , see if you can get the field you want from there .

Have you added the fields on the x object to the custom report type?

When you create the report type, at the bottom are details of the number of fields for each object:

If you click the edit layout button, you can add more fields via the editor:

HI Bob,
Yes... I added those fields from X object to custom report type hen building.
I am also able to drag from left panel to report while building report
Only problem is values are coming as null(empty) for X object fields even holding some data.
