Side Panel in Community

Hi

How can we add a side panel in standerd community and display header values in side panel and remove header.

secondly how can we customize the look and feel of community as per our CSS.

you can customize look and feel of community using your css (  If you are creating cust VF page ) if you want to change loo and feelof the standard page then you can use community footer option and in that you can give your Javascript and Css in HTML file and insert in the footer  in this way you can change some feel but for full customization you need to recreate Custom VF page
