Auto populating multi select picklist based on another field

Hi,

I am having a formula field called as "Total__c" if the value of that field is above 20,000 , then i want to update a multi select picklist field to ">20k" 


help me how to do it as its not poulating the name in workflow(multi select picklist field)

Yes You are right we can not update multi pick list field using workflow. But You can aceive this through a trigger.

Yes.. You dont get an option to select that multiselect picklist field when you try to update it via workflow. The other option available is trigger..
