jcald Is there an easier way to change case owner
Is it me or is the Case Ownership Change a little too cumbersome? is there an easier way to change case owner than having to go to a different page? like creating a drop-down field or an empty field lookup on the case detail page?

On the record not with out creating some custom code, either via a button or a publisher action.
You can, of course, do mass reassigns via a list, select the cases that you want and then "Change Owner", it will still take you to another page, but it is better than one at a time!
