Our Theater Company wants to run an online raffle. Is there a way of doing this on our existing Sales Force ticket site?

I am a board member of the company and we are trying to raise funds.
It seems that a simple GA event should be able to generate a sequencial number that could be used for a "raffle " ticket.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or know of a way that we can set this up?
Thank you
Deb

Deb, is this a one-off type of event or are you going to be doing this often? When do you need to generate the raffle tickets? What type of information do you want to store in Salesforce for this? There are several ways of doing auto-number, but not sure what to recommend until digging into your needs. Also, are you using any other packages in your org?

Best,

Jason

Hello

So far we are only thinking of doing this once. The raffle tickets will be $5 each. We are looking to set this up very soon hopefully early next week.
We want to be able to give the patron a raffle ticket-number that they can match against the winning number that we post in our website

We also want to be able to sell "hard" raffle tickets. This just so we get te most exposure.

We would like to capture all the standard sale info in te person purchasing te ticket Name address phone email

TOJT has its series packag on sale on the it's sale force site right now. In a perfect world we could encourage people who buy the raffle tickets to look at purchasing tickets to our November

If you are using your SF a site to sell tickets, it sounds like it is pretty heavily cutomized. Without really understanding the customziations it is hard to know how you could create a raffle "ticket" that has a cost and a unique number. Could you just create a regular ticket event and then just print out a list of all the belope that bought it and put those in the "hat" to choose a winner?

Thank you for getting in touch. I'm not certain about the customization. Sale Force was sold to our Theater company as a ticketing website, so I'm not certain how it would have been changed. Though as a Board member I am beginning to wonder if this software is a good fit for our organization. Deb

Salesforce is a powerful platform with a huge range of features that can be customized for lots of additional applications, it looks like your version of Salesforce is running an additional program called PatronManager (I could be wrong about that). But since the platform can do almost anything it can take some thought to adapt it for new requirements. Again, if the raffle is going to be a reoccuring event you should take to your Salesforce consultant and they can probably create a nice integrated solution for you.

BTW, your theater looks really cool, if I'm ever in Portland I'll be sure to check it out.

Best,

Jason

Hello Jason I'm replying to a very old e-mail,basically just hoping to connect with a few more questions. Again, i am a Board member of Tears of Joy and my goal is to identify the parts of sales force that can provide working options for TOJT with our limited staff.  Particularly I'm interested in:Marketing optionsDonor relationsBoard communication and scheduling On line sales for school show tours (meaning purchases off a calendar like setting - not unlike booking a room - or something like that) I've spent sometime with the online training tools and admit to being lost in the tide.  If you could point me at any specific trainings or give me an idea of tools that can be accessed fairly easily and that are intuitive.  That would be extremely helpful. Thank youDeb Scott

Hi, Deb, as you've probably seen, the Salesforce platform is wide and deep; hard to know where to start when you are trying to solve a specific problem. The kind of questions you are asking really require a savy Salesforce person to sit down with you and the team at TOJT to understand your specific needs. As I'm sure funds are tight, there are several options for you to find affordable help. The Salesforce Foundation specifically helps non-profits: http://www.salesforcefoundation.org/volunteers/probono/

Taproot is another organization that helps find pro-bono people for non-profits: http://www.taprootfoundation.org/about-probono/global-pro-bono

And as a non-profit you have access to the Salesforce Power of Us community--lots of great people there to help with non-profit issues.

Don't bet in general sum: If you are beginning a playing meeting, never bet all in all sum. You are probably going to freeze even before live satta matka result results are shown. All things considered, you should begin setting half of the wagering sum as your bet. Satta Matka Numerous individuals are offbeat about their fortunate numbers and consistently play them, yet realize that triumphant matka satta depends simply on possibility.

For me, the lottery topic has always been quite interesting, I was looking for as much information as possible on this issue and came across this article https://nhlink.net/gambling/how-often-to-change-lotto-numbers - it seems to me that anyone information will come in handy.

I also like this kind of game. But I play free versions without a deposit. Not ready to invest my own money yet. But it is interesting to play as it is. Here is an example of a casino on your phone https://onlinekasynopolis.pl/kasyna-na-telefon/
Who might want to try too. By the way, for beginners this option is great! The games are simple and interesting.

Hi Deb, using a GA event to generate sequential numbers for a raffle ticket is a creative idea. However, GA (Google Analytics) is primarily designed for tracking website interactions. For raffle ticket generation, you might need a dedicated tool or script that can handle sequential numbering and ticket distribution. There are various event management or ticketing platforms that could help achieve this efficiently. Good luck with your fundraising efforts! https://lottoresult.com.ng/baba-ijebu-results-today/
