Reputation scores not working for Question & Answer in communities

I am trying to setup the reputation levels in our community. It works fine for all chatter posts. But, the user is not rewarded for any activity in Q&A. Not sure what is wrong Any help appreciated.

Can you please provide some more information about how you've set things up? Have the points been customized? What Q&A actions are you trying to verify the points for?

I am seeing the same thing and I am looking into it. My initial assumption is that the Q&A points are not calculated in real-time, as they were added into the calculation after the initial algorithm and required a different architecture. Let me investigate and confirm my hypothesis.

Update for you:

Q&A activity will not impact reputation level. I know, it doesn't make sense. The reasoning is that SFDC recently introduced questions in chatter that will replace chatter answers in a couple of releases (ie EOL of chatter answers). Reputation only applies to all chatter actions. You can create your own custom action/event using apex triggers or add the Question action to the publisher layout(s).
