Create Custom Link to get contact record open

I have a scenario where I need to create a custom link when clicked on that link I need my contact record to open up. Can some one guide me how to get this done

I need to place this custom link on community home page when a user creates a community login he creates a user and contact on salesforce.com so he needs to access his contact record when he clicks the link
