Post a hyperlink in chatter feed

I want to post the user name of the user as a hyderlink when a custom message is posted with '@UserName' in a chatter feed . Any solutions/ideas Hyperlink issue

Hi Rajeev,

If you mention @ to the existing user in org, Salesforce will create a link to thet user record (Highlighted in blue), so if you click on that user name you will get navigated to chatter profile page of that user.

But in my case .. its not showing up as hyperlink(please refer the image present in the post).. I am posting a custom message in chatter via a trigger , then when I am tryng to relate the an username with @ name ... its not displaying it as a hyperlink.....
