Lead Cloning issue

Hello, 

When our Sales team clones a Marketing lead, the "Marketing Campaign"  value is blank. 

They need this value to populate upon cloning. Could you please help us fix this in SFDC Sales team?

Is the "Marketing Campaign" custome field is of type lookup on campaign?
Please let me know the filed type.

However i tried with campaign as lookup on Lead and when we clone the lead it gets cloned as well.

yes , its an custom field and lookup with Campaign.
