Which is faster SQL or SOQL?

can any one explain which is faster query?

Hi Prathap,

If you are using Salesforce, you will need to use SOQL.
Query speed depends upon the number of records it fetches. 
Is there any specific use case where you need evaluate the difference between the SQL & SOQL, please let us know.
