I would like to create a subtab menu using a visualforce page. I want to keep the out of box tab menu but want associated subtabs to correlate with each tab. Can somone provide (sample) code for this?

I am building a ISV product. I would like the app to have a subtab menu. Can someone help with this?

You will have to use Visualforce. There is a product called Skuid you can use if you wish to declaratively create a submenu.

Is there an alternative to Skuid? The cost for us to use them is $1500/year for a subtab... Certainly there must be a better way.

Sorry, I don't know of anything else. You may wish to call Skuid. I read in App Exchange reviews that they can exclude the consulting fee for just regular licenses. It's worth a try.
