what is customaization and configuration on salesforce

Hey Vijay ,

Salesforce is  build in CRM tool, the functionality which is already there you need to do some modification on that. Like you need to write a workflow,approval process. Modifying any page layout etc are configuration.

If you are writing any class ,trigger ,VF pages to achive your requirment is fall under customization .
