Hi Vineet,

I think you can learn the basics of Salesforce from Trailhead:
https://developer.salesforce.com/trailhead

Also, the below salesforce blog contains a lot of useful links and resources about Salesforce:

Hi Vineet,

You can get started with these books:

Thanks Yuchen and Sagar :) :)

First thing to do would be to create a free Developer Account: https://developer.salesforce.com/  - This will enable you to be able to test and build apps and play with the platform.

I would then look at Salesforce Trailhead as recommended by Yuchen. - https://developer.salesforce.com/trailhead

I would then look at ButtonClickAdmin - http://www.buttonclickadmin.com/ and Admin Hero - http://www.adminhero.com/ both of these blogs are really valuable resources from Salesforce MVPs, so they know whay they are talking about.

Seriously though if you play around with the possiblities in Salesforce, breaking and fixing your Dev Org and seeing what it is capable of, that will take you a long way.

Nick
