Hi All,

our next potentional customer is considering buy license for Professional Edition. With enabled feature "Integration via Web Services API" Can I develop Apex Trigger ? Because if not, what sense is about this feature?

Thanks for answer

Hi Pankaj,

thanks for reply. I read about it (http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/packagingGuide/Content/dev_packages_apex_ge_pe.htm) So if I understand correctly, this paid feature "Web Service API" is only allowing API but you can´t create any trigger to that integration ? It seems ridiculous.

Hi Michal,

Yes, we cannot create triggers, Apex classes, VF pages, workflow rules etc. in Professional edition. It allows API integration through the managed packages only.
