What is the difference between Trigger.oldMap or Trigger.NewMap

Trigger.oldMap will contains the old version of sObject record.Note that this map is only available in update and delete triggers.
Trigger.newMap will contain new version of sObject. Note that this map is only available in before update, after insert, and after update triggers.
