In short Leas process is used to manage Lead status.
There are a quite a few places in Salesforce that support business processes, namely: -Lead Status field (Lead Qualification Process) -Opportunity Stage field (Opportunity Sales Process) -Case Status field (Support Process) -Contract Status field (Contract Process)
Hi Prosenjit, Campaigns are marketing efforts made by any business which includes mass mailing, email campaigns, trade shows, seminars, networking events, etc.
Every contact you get from these campaigns is added to the system as a lead.
A lead is basically a business card with a name, address and phone number tha t could potentially be interested in your product. You either acquire this card in person, mail or lists. You have activities related to the lead development which will include calls, sending materials and possible meetings. A lead has a life cycle with lead stages and status. As a lead moves through the life cycle you can capture the time it took to move from one stage to another. Lead scoring also plays a huge part in prioritizing lead management.
Hi Ajay, Thanks for your efforts. I want to know the technical aspects. Suppose I go to Setup -> Customize -> Lead -> Lead Processes. Now create a Lead process and some status to it. Now my qustion come in to picture.
What will be happened by doing these ?
How can I associate a Lead record with that Lead process ?
What will be the reflection in the app by doing this ?
