Upload information

Hello- I am trying to add streetlight locations to our database, there are 2100 of them, too much to manually load. is there a way to upload without manually entering them?

There are two tools available for mass upload to create records. 
Click on Set up > Data Managment.
1. Import Custom Objects (Assuming you are putting the streetlight locations in a custom object.)
OR
2. Download external data loader

Personaly I like the data loader better. It is easier to use and give more information about errors.
The dataloader can update existing records too in any object. It will require the Salesforce ID for a reference key.
