Is Trailhead down?

Trailhead seems to not be working well today.  It isn't recording my completed challenges and now is saying that I need to log in, but then won't let me do so.  Any idea?

Yes its down. For me it says bad request!

It is running something that is not executing so it never completes a load on my end.

BUMP - 6/15/2017 - getting 503 errors and 500 errors today. Any idea when the service will be stable again?

Same for me.  I'm intermittently able to get to the main trailhead.salesforce.com site but then I just get 500 errors after trying to click to an actual trail or login to resume progress.

Same here -- it doesn't check any challenges. It also can't create a Playground for me: "In progress" is there for half an hour already.

It doesn't seem to work for me as well, Check Challenge buttons change on click into an endlessly animated 3-dot loader.

Intermittently having problems with Trailhead, it stays stable for a few minutes, then throws an error 500, then recovers after a while. Been like this for last couple of days.

In particular looking at Trailmixes seems to be a problem.

Update: I have discovered that logging out of Trailhead and logging back in seemed to fix the problem I was having, so its maybe Chrome browser-session related. Or maybe this was just coincidental.

i think that was the problem with Chrome..i tried with IE it was working fine.

I have been experiencing this issue too - logged a case for it - but it also happened in IE when i tired under both standard and in-private browsing.

So today, the Trailhead site throws this 'Application error' - when I try to log in.
An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details. You can do this from the Heroku CLI with the command heroku logs --tail
