Does changing the Multi-currency exchange rate edit an opportunity (and potentially fire a trigger based on opp edit)?

We have some triggers that fire when an opportunity is edited. We are planning to roll out Advanced Multi-Currency and are concerned that when we update the exchange rates, this might fire the trigger when we do not want it to. Does anyone know if this would make the trigger fire? And if so, do you have advice on how to prevent that?

No, triggers will not be fired when you update exchange rates.

Hello. In my case, we do not have Advanced Multi-Currency and we DO need trigger to fire when currency exchange rates are changed. According to waht I see the trigger is not fired. Is there any way to make trigger to fire?
