Why can't I see the "Query Editor" tab within the "Developer Console"?

When I click on my name button in the upper right hand corner of the screen and select "Developer Console", I only see the Logs, View State, Progress and Problems tabs.  Does anyone know why this is the case?  I'm marked as an "Admin" within user management, we also have the professional edition of Salesforce.com.

Go to Help -> Preferences -> set Enable Query Plan to true

Rich,
Professional edition does not have access to query editor. You need to have Enterprise and above edition to see query editor.

I did not see that we're talking about Professional Edition. @Sreeni is correct!

Thank you for the clarification. This doesn’t seem to be clearly stated on their website.
