Check challenge status button not appearing on trailhead

On trailhead, I am not able to see the check challenge status button. Any idea? Please take a look at the following screen-print.

First click/select the "Connect to your Developer Edition" button and then enter the user name/password... once connected, you will get the green Check Challenge button.

First click on Connect to your Developer Edition" button the login. Then only button will come

I was already logged into my developer org. Hence, I was thinking that the button should be visible. However, explicitly connecting to the org from trailhead made the button visible.
