Task not showing in open activities

Hi,

I created this maintenance ticket and it should show in open activities but isn't. Plus it is not showing up in my tasks (which it should as I assigned it to myself). Thanks for your help.

Task which is assigned to will visible in HOME tab. IF task is assign to you and associate with this ticket then only this will visible under the ticket.

It's not showing on the home page under tasks and it is not showing in open activities.

I did in my initial question, you don't see it? The ticket should show in open activities but isn't. And it isn't showing in my tasks which it should

How you are creating task here ? I hope maintaince record is custom object right

By assigning the maintenance ticket to myself. And yes it is a custom object.

In the open activity it will show you only Task record. It a custom object that is why i will not come under open activity and Under HOME tab.
If you will use TASK standard object then only it will come under home tab.

I hope you can use the TASK standard object ?
