Hello Giovanni,
It would be great if you raise a case with Salesforce support. I am sure if you explain purpose of it then this will be consider and they will increase the limit to 6MB.

I would suggest if you get in touch with your Account Executive and there is good chance that they will increase this on courtesy basis if you are following the best practice and detailed business impact.
