if so, will each App and Component have a standard set of Events associated with them so we can integrate our custom components?

I was hoping that each field would become a component with some standard events associated with it. That the page layout would become something like the App Builder - with all the fields available as components. Then we could build our own components to use for a field. That would be really powerful!
