First thing you can try is Compact and Repair utility, built-in repair tool provided by Microsoft in its Access program. being an IT professional for 10+years, I would suggest you to go for manual procedures first then go for a third party tool.
See you are in 21st century. Yes these thgird party tools have high end algorithms but trust me there are some good manual technmioques too...which you may use.
It is not that for any kind of recovery or repair, the only option that you have is to use a third party tool.
So let me share you the manual procedurea that you can use for MS Aceess database recovery:
1. Importing corrupt files to a new database
2. using jetcomp.exe
3. compact and repair utility tool
4. and backup and restore.

No need to worry if you find corruption in your access database files.
