Ab No option available to change master detail in to lookup field
Hello,
An custom object have a master detail relation ship to cotact object (contact being master).
I was trying to convert this in to lookup but i dont get that option.
What can be the reason and how can i solve it. thank you

First you have to delete any rollup summery field on your master object. Then try to convert that relationship from master detail to lookup.

You can convert a master-detail relationship to a lookup relationship without using Roll-up summary in the master object changed. Like edit on the field Change Field Type ,change the master to look-up.
