Task- Email and Phone fields

Is there any way to make Email and Phone fields editable in Task object?

Both the phone and email fields are read only fields. The phone and email fields are auto-populated from the Contact or Lead to whom the activity refers.

I want to create a task from Business account. And in this case these two fields are not auto populated from this business account in standard way. And we are not able to edit these fields also. So, the problem is that these two fields are showing nothing as read only in task page layout. Could you please give me any solution for that?

Make sure you will select Contact / Lead while creating Task from Buisness Account.

Phone and Email field values should be present in the selected object record. Once you save task record, phone and email field values will be populated.
