visualforce to search currency fields in an object

i want to build a search page in visualforce and am able search for country and city and populate a list of matches but i am not sure how serch for currency values that fall within a range as set in 2 input fields, can you please help?

Can you please explain it little more better? and is there any multiple currency concept also included in your VF page?
As per my understanding there are 2 input fields in which we need to pass currency value and perform search.
