Creating a lookup field for Events?

Hi,
I have a custom object topics__c. I need to create a custom field which has lookup to Event/Activities object. Whether that is possible?
Because i cant find Event object when i create a custom lookup field.

Hi Vivek,

You will get that option at:
Set Up> Customize> Activities> Activity Custom Fields.

My scenario is the opposite one. i need to create lookup field in topics__c custom object not on Event object.
