I can't login to Data loader at my home office even while connected to the VPN for my nashville onsite office. How can I fix this? Is it a setting change?
I know how to login ... but I have no idea what our companies security token is as I have never had to use it. Can you point me to the location within Salesfoce when I'm logged in as to where the security token is so I can locate? Or does this come from a system admin?
Make sure that you are providing the Security Token.
Also make sure that you are connecting to the right environment. like sandbox vs production.

In the place of password: <YourPassword><SecurityToken>

Go to My Settings uner your name and select the Reset my security token.
It will send an email with the security token.
