Long text area for Event object

Hi all,

I created a custom field of data type 'Text area' in Event object which currently holds only 255 characters max. Is there any workaround for increasing more characters for that custom field?

Hi Vivekh,

We can't do anything for holding more than 255 characters in 'Text Area' field. Because it's a standard functionality. By using 'Long Text Area' field only, we can enter more than 255 characters.

So far, Salesforce doesn't have the long text area field in events.
