Issue with record sharing and visibility in "CASE" object

Hi All,

I have a scenario where Person A and Person B are 2 helpdesk representatives who login using partner community portal.
Person A should not be able to view "Cases" assigned to Person B and vice versa.
How can i achieve this?

Make sure Case object should be set to Private at OWD level. If so, then check for Case assignment rules, workflows and triggers on Case object.

Make sure the Organization wide defaults for the Case object set to Private in your org.

@Pankaj,Atul Just 1 more question if u don't mind. What if they are 2 different organizations and "NOT" just 2 helpdesk reps belonging to the same organization?
In that case does setting the Object's OWD to private help ?

Bharath, what do you mean by 2 different organizations?
If you are talking about 2 different Salesforce Org, just make sure that you have the OWD set to "Private" in both the organizatons.

Just curious, how exactly are you accessing 2 different salesforce organizations via 1 partner portal?

Atul, By organizations i mean accounts and not different Salesforce orgs. Sorry, for the confusion .

Set the organization wide default to Private and it should work.
