I'm new to salesforce started studying it in trailhead a week back,would like to choose carreer in salesforce,I'm from IT background.Im in a confusion to choose admin or developer, which is demanding?My interst says to start with admin.Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the world of salesforce. In saleforce we have very good demand for salesforce developer. As you are new in salesforce you can start with salesforce admin then you can move into development.

That will help you in you carreer

These suggestions will really help for me  to move ,where I dont know abcs of salesforce.

Even I thought the same first to start with admin and later to move to developer.
I'm very interested to move my career to salesforce.
Basically I'm from java background with 5 years experience.

I just got 5 badges in trailhead and still studying.
1.I think certification is must to get a salesforce job outside,isnt it? Which one will be good to choose to get into salesforce quickly?
2.Trail head study (beginner,intermediate,advanced) is ok for admin 201 certification? or do I need more resources.If there is any  specific material for certification can you please share 
3.May I know how many days it may take to complete admin201 resources?
Could you please help me in getting clarified these.
