How to send attachments to external system from salesforce?

Hi All,

My requirement is to send attachments to external system.

Can any one help me on this requirement?

Does the external system have an API you can call from Salesforce? You can call most REST and SOAP APIs from Salesforce.

The other options is for the external system to call into one of the APIs that Salesforce provides.

Do you have a more specific requirement? There are lots of options to choose from here.
